Evey and Austin by Aries Tao

When creating a partnered shoot, people often focus on the aesthetic alone and miss a key element that can make or break a shoot. Chemistry. 

When there is bad chemistry on set, achieving a set outcome is a lot more challenging. The energy of the images comes with negative chemistry, and even though the end result may come out ok, it will never be brilliant.

I only do brilliant. A pass result has never been part of the Royalle story, so when I coordinated this shoot I was confident in the team chosen. All of the people on this shoot work with passion and integrity, so with these core values as part of the equation, it was sure to be a hit.

Aries Tao has been part of our team for years, providing the magical spark that transforms a model from what could be, to what is. I knew that under his guidance and with his creative vision, our models would be in good hands. 

Even though both Evey and Austin are new to our agency, I knew they would be a great team on this shoot. Our induction process is a lot different than most. We focus on the quality of a person, and not just their look. These two proved to me in their applications and through our induction program, that they have royalle material, and it certainly showed on this shoot.

As always, Angelina Feng did a fantastic job with hair and makeup and Mr Tao certainly showcased why he's one of the best in the country with a timeless, elegant, yet playful photoshoot in our beautiful Sydney city.
