Annika's first international Publication

When Royalle Modelling signed Annika Ashman about a year ago, I was excited to see her potential. I arranged a beach shoot with myself and 3 of our photographers so I could see her and some of our new models in action. It was unanimous. The photographers all agreed that she was amazing and the photos we got set the standard for her modelling portfolio. 

I trained and shot Annika again at Modelle Academy and then a few more times since then. Every time we work together, I have loved what we create. As an agent and creative director, photography unfortunately takes a backseat with me, and It tends to be something I do as a way to give training and guidance to our models.

Never the less, this day was special and I caught Annika outside of Studio 49 in this gorgeous light on a very busy day for her with back to back shoots booked all day. 

I remember running up to her as she was in the photo studio wearing what she arrived in, and rushing her to come downstairs quickly as the light was perfect. 

She followed my lead and we ended up outside in the doorway of a neighbouring house to take these images.

Shooting her was a breeze.

Her effortless elegance made every shot such a hit that no editing was required at all. In fact, when I submitted this to Moevir Magazine along some other incredible images, I was pleasantly surprised their team responded to me that this was the set they wanted to publish. A true credit to the Moevir team for being able to see the magic in this simple and authentic capture of an amazing model, on a lazy sunday morning.
